Today’s reading: Psalm 148:1-14
As I read through and considered the words of Psalm 148 and its command to praise the name of the Lord, the song “So Will I (100 Billion X)” by Hillsong United came to my mind. The gist of this song of praise is that all of God’s creation (and especially us) are to praise Him. As the song and Psalm 148 point out, if the angels, the stars and heavens, rocks and mountains, winds and waters, land and sea creatures praise Him, then we, as God’s crowning act of creation, should also be praising Him with ALL of our being. I love this psalm and its call for us to boldly “praise the Lord!“
