Today’s reading: Romans 13:8-10; Mark 12:28-34; Leviticus 19:18; Galatians 5:13-15
The command to love our neighbors is found throughout the Bible. I selected a handful of passages containing this command for us to consider as we finish out our designated Valentine’s week here on Powered by 4. I particularly liked Paul’s approach to love in Romans 13:8 where he tells us that love is the only thing we should be “owing” another person. It definitely got me thinking about my approach to giving love in a slightly different way this morning.
What does the command to “love your neighbor as yourself” mean to you? What are your thoughts on Paul’s statement about “owing” love to others? Tami
