Today’s reading: Ecclesiastes 10: 5-11
When we choose to act imprudently–with wrong motivation, pushing our own agenda, forcing action according to our own timing–situations don’t end well. We bring about harm to ourselves (our improper actions come back to bite us), we cause strife for ourselves and others, we create more work and many times a job that isn’t done well.
Seeing as none of us are perfect, we’ve all chosen to ignore good judgment at some point. Think back to one of those situations. What’s one lesson you learned? How did your experience line up with what we read from Ecclesiastes today? Was there a particular verse that stood out to you and why? Tami
