Today’s reading: Acts 4:23-31
As soon as Peter and John are released, they join up with a group of other Christ-followers and tell them about their arrest and interrogation experience. Upon hearing all that Peter and John have to say, the group turns to a time of corporate prayer. They recognize God’s sovereignty and fully embrace that opposition and hardship are part of His supreme plan. Then with this submitted mindset, they ask God to continue to encourage, empower and prompt them to spread the Gospel message–no matter the circumstances they encounter.
