Today’s reading: 2 Samuel 23:1-7
As an old man who knows his life is coming to a close, David’s dedication and commitment to God remains strong. As his final day on earth approaches, once again David openly and boldly proclaims God and His goodness, solidifying his legacy of a life dedicated to following after and living for God. As David speaks, he confidently reiterates and confirms the fact that God is sovereign over all, and that He blesses and upholds those who live righteously for Him.
