Today’s reading: 1 John 2:1-6
Once we receive Christ as our Savior, it should be our heart’s desire to keep and follow the commandments God has given us in His Word. In other words, a natural response to being in relationship with God is a noticeable change in our behavior.
“[B]ut whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.” (vs. 5-6).
