Today’s reading: Galatians 2:1-10
As we move on to Galatians 2, we see Paul continue to lay out his case for apostleship to the believers in Galatia who’ve been swayed by teaching that doesn’t line up with the message of truth they’d learned from Paul. Paul reminds the Galatians of his credibility by recalling the fact that he was called by God to spread the gospel message and teach about Christ. Then Paul provides an account of his actions, focusing on his journey to spend time with the apostles and the approval he received from James, Peter and John (along with Barnabas and Timothy). His personal spiritual history (his testimony) is strong and revealed to the Galatians a heart dedicated to serving God well.
How often do you look back and recall your spiritual walk and journey? How does reflecting on our spiritual past help us move forward and grow spiritually? Why is it important to share our spiritual history with others? Tami
