Today’s reading: 2 Kings 23:21-30
The reign of Josiah was like a breath of needed, fresh air for the people of Judah. From start to finish, he was completely devoted to both personally seeking after and serving God, and leading the people under his authority to do the same. As we reach the end of the account of his reign, the words of 2 Kings 23:25 sum up Josiah’s life perfectly.
“Before him there was no king like him, who turned to the LORD with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his might, according to all the Law of Moses, nor did any like him arise after him” (vs. 25).
How would you describe the condition of your heart and soul concerning God? Are you like Josiah, pursuing God and His ways with all your might? What spiritual legacy are you putting in place? Tami
